Municipalities We Serve
Fifteen towns and villages, one community channel.
SCHOPEG is the community access station for 8 towns and 7 villages in Schoharie County and neighboring Schenectady County. If you get Spectrum in any of them, SCHOPEG is on your lineup at channels 1301 and 1303, and both channels stream free on this site.

How it works
Each of these towns and villages has a cable franchise agreement with Charter Communications, which runs Spectrum. The current 15-year agreements, renewed between 2017 and 2019, name SCHOPEG as the organization that runs the community channels.
A share of the franchise fees Spectrum subscribers pay to their town or village supports SCHOPEG, along with funds Charter committed for production equipment. SCHOPEG receives no tax dollars.
